To mark its 11th anniversary, guests at Silavadee will be able to enjoy further special activities and events throughout the month of May:

Turtle Release - The secret beach at Silavadee is home to the green hawksbill sea turtle, an endangered species in the Gulf of Thailand and around the world. The same hawksbill turtle has been using this beach for the last 20 years to lay her eggs. Every two years she lays eggs which are collected by specialist staff from the Marine and Coastal Resources Research Centre (MCRRC) and transferred to a safe place for hatching. This year Silavadee staff and invited guests will release 11 turtles to the sea on the 1st May 2019 as part of their traditional annual celebration. Silavadee is honoured to play a part in preserving this critically endangered species, and will continue maintaining the natural environment of the secret beach. To show their appreciation of 11 years of successful and wonderful experiences with guests from around the world, Silavadee is proud to announce that for every booking in May, made through the hotel’s website, 111 baht will be donated to the MCRRC.
